Another factor u might wanna consider when purchasing a robot vacuum is the servicing. For my Irobot 530 I need to bring it back to it's servicing center every 6-9mth at people's park ( not v near 4 me) . So this time when my Roomba need it's servicing n it's wheels wear off (no more warranty)I decide to try for other brand. Just bought Iclebo the person told me no servicing required as it is air tight :xedfingers:

I did some checking out before getting my iRobots. The parallel importers does servicing too. You should check them out. Why does your Rhoomba needs servicing so often?

Thanks 4 sharing ,I already got my Iclebo but just wanna to share my experience with Roomba 530. I bought it at court in 2008. The first half yr was amazing until my robot start leaving dirt ball all over the floor. Dirt were trap at the filter instead of the bin so I bring it back to the service center. It was then I realize tat I need to service the robot regularly. The 1 yr warranty comes with 2 servicing. I bought the extended warranty fr court n now that it expire I decided to change.

According to the ppl fr John Ackerman( the service center) to properly maintain the
robot U need to service it every half yr(but I always wait till dirt cannot go to the bin then I bring it 4 service which is normally abt 9mths. Usually it takes abt 3 days before they return my robot.
The servicing was not make known to me b4i purchase the robot ( I find the servicing part rather troublesome )
Although Irobot has it's flaws but it still service me a good 3 yrs b4 I officially retired it :salute:

Anyone got any reviews on the \"Spin Mop\" ?

I bought \"spin and go\" from fairprice extra for around $79.90. Didn't quite like the homefix one as the demo set looks flimsy and very dirty. Am very happy with my spin and go as it makes drying the mop easy and so mopping becomes a breeze too. I also trained my 3 kids, 12, 10 and 7 yr olds to use this mop and they love to help me, esp the 7 yo:)

Am now preggy with no. 4 and I still mop the kitchen floor with ease too.

I only bought Iclebo 2days ago still testing it. But so far I am quite impress with it mapping navigation. When I use to remote to sent the robot to it's base , it can travel fr my study rm pass a corridor pass my dining area to my living rm to it's base without hitting any furniture in a few seconds. :salute:
The only thing I dun like abt Iclebo( compare to Irobot) is it's too thick n can't go under my sofa . :slapshead:

To decide which is better I guess still need more time to find out to give a fair comparison. Hope these will help u make a decision on which robot to purchase for your 2nd floor

Hi fifi,

With the scooba, do you still need a mop? Don’t really like the idea of spreading used and dirty water from room to room with a Mop. Anyway, the scooba claims to use only clean solution on the floor and stores the used and dirty water in the dirty tank and it even kills bacteria. Is your scooba performing well after muiti-usage? A bit concerned about its promises, especially the kills bacteria part, cos seems too good to be true.

I lived in a house so there's always the stairs part that have to be manually taken care off. Scooba or the Rhoomba can't climb. :slapshead:
So yes, I do need a mop for my stairs and some small corners in the house where my robots can't go.

So far I've used only water on my Scooba. I prefer to clean my floors regularly with just water.

I'm very happy with Scooba. It has taken away a lot of my floor cleaning headaches and free up my time. It's clean...definitely cleaner than any of my maids! :boogie:
