Solution suggested by MP only helps for dropping off. Does not work for picking up kids as parents have to park there and wait for school to finish.

During rainy day, there were some inconsiderate drivers waiting for their kids under the drop off shelter and refuse to move as their kids were not there yet. Some parents advised them to loop round the carpark so as to let other parents picking up their kids but the drivers simply refused.

The improvement will likely for a short period and the whole problem will resurface again after sometime unless the school is willing to allocate resources together with the residents to station in the area every morning to control the traffic...

I tell you, there are DRIVERS who park their cars at the drop off shelter on rainy days   Got caught in the rain many times because of these inconsiderate people...who think they own the shelter. This problem won't end bcos there are people who think that dropping off their kids is just a matter of seconds.

How time flies ..... 2nd semester starts in a few hrs time.

Before I know it, my little boy would have finished P1 and be promoted to P2.

He's actually quite heavy for a P1. He tips the scale at about 27kg now and ht is 123cm. Hopefully he can grow to at least 180cm, don't be a shorty like me.
I think you have a smaller problem. My ds hitting 40kg and only 135cm. H goes swimming 3x per week, 1hr each time. Cycles and blade and play badminton with ds2 everyday. Still has a tummy. I think it's the diet that I need to control more and not increasing the exercise.

Allow me to share on dieting. Control chicken intake. The hormone injections into chickens speeds up the growth of body fats and when we consume it, and in the case of our kids like fried chicken wings and KFC, it helps to keep this away and to the minimum. Especially after watching Food Inc, mine really says \"Mummy I :dowan: liao..\" ....
Next time kid on weighing scale really shows wonders 🙂

So eating KFC more often can help put on weight 😉

I so envy you gals. My elder boy is reaching 41kg, nearing 160cm and my P4 boy is tipping at 22kg, maybe 130cm. Both are very very lean. Think I shld intro KFC to fatten them a bit more :rotflmao:

We dun eat chicken often, much less KFC type.

Haha, my boys don't take much chicken too, bcos one of them is allergic to eggs ( n therefore avoids same group of products) n also bcos I read that the hormones in chicken causes early puberty in girls and 'man-boobs' for boys :yikes:

Both my boys eat every 2 hours but are very underweight.. DS1 is only 19kg and < 120cm.. still the shortest boy in class!! How often does the school check their weight etc? once a year?

I honestly think this is the root cause.. everyone thinks that it doesn't take much time, but it causes inconvenience to others.. we usually park at block 4's carpark n walk over.. to save ourselves the frustration from the traffic issue.. no point getting pissed after a long day at work..

MP was there to check out the situation…with HOD Science and some other staff. She had to respond to Toh Yi residents’ grouses. This morn, MP not there but vice-p was there. How long can the staff possibly station themselves there ? It will be back to square 1 next week.
