How time flies ..... 2nd semester starts in a few hrs time.

Before I know it, my little boy would have finished P1 and be promoted to P2.

He's actually quite heavy for a P1. He tips the scale at about 27kg now and ht is 123cm. Hopefully he can grow to at least 180cm, don't be a shorty like me.
I think you have a smaller problem. My ds hitting 40kg and only 135cm. H goes swimming 3x per week, 1hr each time. Cycles and blade and play badminton with ds2 everyday. Still has a tummy. I think it's the diet that I need to control more and not increasing the exercise.

Allow me to share on dieting. Control chicken intake. The hormone injections into chickens speeds up the growth of body fats and when we consume it, and in the case of our kids like fried chicken wings and KFC, it helps to keep this away and to the minimum. Especially after watching Food Inc, mine really says \"Mummy I :dowan: liao..\" ....
Next time kid on weighing scale really shows wonders 🙂

So eating KFC more often can help put on weight 😉

I so envy you gals. My elder boy is reaching 41kg, nearing 160cm and my P4 boy is tipping at 22kg, maybe 130cm. Both are very very lean. Think I shld intro KFC to fatten them a bit more :rotflmao:

We dun eat chicken often, much less KFC type.

Haha, my boys don't take much chicken too, bcos one of them is allergic to eggs ( n therefore avoids same group of products) n also bcos I read that the hormones in chicken causes early puberty in girls and 'man-boobs' for boys :yikes:

Both my boys eat every 2 hours but are very underweight.. DS1 is only 19kg and < 120cm.. still the shortest boy in class!! How often does the school check their weight etc? once a year?

            janet_lee88:
This problem won't end bcos there are people who think that dropping off their kids is just a matter of seconds.
I honestly think this is the root cause.. everyone thinks that it doesn't take much time, but it causes inconvenience to others.. we usually park at block 4's carpark n walk over.. to save ourselves the frustration from the traffic issue.. no point getting pissed after a long day at work..

MP was there to check out the situation…with HOD Science and some other staff. She had to respond to Toh Yi residents’ grouses. This morn, MP not there but vice-p was there. How long can the staff possibly station themselves there ? It will be back to square 1 next week.

My boy brou back a sch letter outlining the traffic issue faced by Toh Yi residents. The sch asked parents to be considerate neighbours.

Maybe a more drastic measure needs to be implemented, like put up carpark gantry- deduct flat fee upon entry, no grace period, then every 1 min must pay 50cts carpark fee. See who still wants to park n wait there. I better :siam: before kena stoned

but that is a PUBLIC carpark...same like a road....as long as the drivers pay road tax, they have the right to use them....unless the residents willing to buy over all the carparks in that area, like condo, and fence up the estate...

do u think the MP can solve this problem? think about those private property owners around NYPS and RGPS.......

Whoa, your ds plays a lot of games. My ds only plays computer games ...... but at least once a week he swims and will start blading on a weekly basis soon.

Your P4 ds only 22kg? My ds already 27kg. I can't carry him anymore, even if I want to. Not unless I want to break my back. You almost make him sound gigantic. 😉

My ds told me yesterday he was the 'defender' for your ds. I was like yah sure, I believe you  . As long as ds doesn't get bullied by the older kids I'll be overjoyed, let alone expect him to defend others. :rotflmao:

Must be during PE.. ds complained that he got scolded by his classmates for not running faster 🆒 good that he has 'bigger' friends like your ds.. at least they can help each other out when necessary.. :boogie: my ds has tried to eat more, but he simply can't put on weight.. so he gave up
