As for dd, seems that they are increasing the lesson and also have few lessons need to go to Science lab.

[/quote]I also think that Science is the least taught and least emphasized subject in school. My son does not fare well in the open ended session. In fact, only 1 boy managed to scored A* in this SA1 in the whole cohort. Wonder if this is the same in other schools?

True. In fact I observe one of the center has increased their price for the workshop after good comments by the parent.

Yes, dd is struggling with section b too. She doesnt really know how to answer the questions \"properly\".

Yes, he can normally manage to score around 30 for section B. He is either missing some key words or misinterprets the questions and lose precious marks.

Sci is actually a very alive subject.

DS is better off in section b than mcq.Two mistake in mcq this time.Book work kind of questions.He doesnt memorise, that is why he dislike reading text or guide book cos its super dry.He loves reading outside the text.

For section B, I would think its a soft skill that is required in this section.To be able to understand the sci concept and apply in the real life.
