So weird,
Janet_lee88, I only see your post for this topic... :?
P2A also depends if your home is near the school and you are ok to move near your school....

P2A1 and P2A2 has never need to be ballot. I could not see the reason why there is a need to seperate them? Any idea?

CHS came extremely close last year, with only 18 places left after 2A2.
So who's to say there won't be a need to ballot for 2A2 in the future? -
BigDevil:
It might be the trend for popular schools with sec and jc affliations.dankhim:

my otherwise not-ks friends went to join alumni after that alarming year....and they are not due to register until some years down the road. So I would think that all of a sudden, (popular) schools will find themselves inundated with alumni.dankhim:

I remembered reading the top PSLE student 2010 attend Learning Lab. -
Honestly, I just cannot understand why there is a Phase 2A1 and 2A2.
For both phases, the parent must be a former student. Phase 2A2 is for staff of the school of choice. For schools without alumni, parents will register under this category.
I wanted to join alumni (kiasi) before registering my daughter for P1...but a parent in alumni told me there is no need to do so (99% guaranteed). Understand that other than Phase 1 where there is confirmed place, subsequent phases may have to ballot if demand exceeds supply. I stay more than 2km away, so very worried last year

Maybe they want to add more criteria for 2A1 and 2A2

My wife told me to cool down. She said if that happen, then it's God's will or you can say it's fate. :imanangel:
