          Hi

Can any mums whose kids have attended/are attending cl tuition at essence edu zhou lao shi at coronation plaza share with me more about the teacher, quality of teaching and her materials and any success story? I understand that she was an ex-nyps teacher teaching the low pri and her stint with MOE was about 4 yrs. Not sure if she is well-versed in psle preparation. Can any mums whose kids scored A* for psle cl last year advise me which tuition centre or experienced PSLE cl specialist to send to? Don’t mind to travel.

          Tks and god bless

            Hi All,

Berries has a super long queue for nursery level. i checked all west and central branches.

waiting list as long as 60 people in front. So, i need to consider Tien hsie, hua and beijing language school.

Iam looking for one that can cultivate interest for my son and build up his vocab and also confidence level when reading.

Some told me Tien hsia is too stressful for nursery level. With all the spelling and hanyu pinying?? for nursery level?

Any comment on these 3 language centres?and particularly tien hsia orchard centre,is the teacher good??

            Thanks all .

My DD is in berries but I still find her quite weak in mandarin. Like she cannot read most of the intructions in the assessment book so she doesn’t know how to do the work. She is in k2 now. Am I overreacting?

my elder boy was with berries since K1. he could only read instructions of CL assessment books say...end of P1?! wahaha...i think preschool CL assessment books are not 'regulated' unlike primary school ones which follows curriculum ie the kids will learn in school, then can apply on the assessment books, even if dont know instructions words how to read, also can roughly guess what is required.
i did not buy any CL assessment books for both my boys when they are in preschool. how to read the instructions if the words are not taught?
