2011 P1 Registration Exercise for 2012 In-Take

I will be bringing DD to the reg. I thought it would be fun to check out the school n show her how big primary school is.

3 yrs back, i brought my boy to his P1 registration. we registered during the last day of Phase 2C after lunch time. thereafter, we requested to do a walkaround. as the school only operates single session, we were given permission to roam around. the security guard close one eye.

I think if it's confirmed that your child will get it, then there's no harm to bring him/her to take a look at the school. Though I'm not sure if you are able to \"tour\" the school.

But if there's chance of balloting and it's not 100% shoo in, then my opinion is not to bring the child. First impression is rather lasting. The child might really like the school base on first impression (could be nice design, etc). If because of balloting and need to source for another school, then might lead to unneccessary explanation and pacification. JMHO

agree! my one is confirm no ballot that time (we waited until the last slot to register in this sch cos we were initially eyeing another one), so we had fun touring the compound (the admin staff hesitated initially, then relented maybe cos my boy looked so excited. :D)
if have ballot, better don't bring the kid. if ballot, also don't be so nervous/gancheong. your kid can feel your vibes ah.

I will be bringing him too but think might not be able to as he will be in school.. unless I go in the afternoon..

Don't bring the child along if it is not a shoo-in. It gives the child a false hope should there be balloting.
Stay cool...there is nothing much you can do and all the best.

Ya 3 years or 2.5 years to be exact :p, it was NH, so when DD is 4 years old, need to submit application for PV.

send in the PV le, but NCPS said PV result only in sept, dunoe will get it or not :sad:

AG's PV also send in but no one call lei :sad:

You are registering next year, so your PV duty should start July 2011 and ends June 2012. If they only have the result in Sept, then you don't have a full year to complete your 40 hours.

I think they are referring to PV result for 2007 batch of children (registering in 2013). You'd better start preparing for phase 2C.
