True. Two days with may be less than few hours!Son told me his teacher has finished 'Human Circulatory System' within 2 days :faint: ...that means nothing much has been taught. There are many questions on that topic in exam papers.
I'm going through CA2 papers to check out questions for him to read and understand better. -

Hi Brenda,
Bigger ears to reduce body heat and smaller ears to reduce the loss of body heat.hquek:
i recall one psle year question on how to make water if given a set of things. Thought I saw some steps being outlined in one of those survival books. Not sure if I'm hallucinating.
The above is similar to one of the open & end question (elephant) came out during PSLE 2010!
Copying the answers for SCGS P5 2009 SA2 now. MCQ questions do require quite a fair bit of thinking compared to other schools. If son's school sets this kind of questions, more time needs to be spent on each question.
Human Circulatory System comprises of 3 impt parts...I need time to digest section on blood vessels alone. Her idea of 'completing' within 2 days means nothing is taught.
BTW, still figuring out why bigger ears can lose more body heat. Will check out the guide. -

Ture. All these need time to digest and also must remember direction of blood flow and also rich in oxygen or carbon dioxode etc
BTW, if you happen to go nearby popular, you may look out for the answer key from Sciecne PSLE Booklet on question 26 lah. -

I have problems remembering direction of blood flood and which vessel carries oxygenated/deoxygenated blood etc etc etc. This weekend have to get him to read up Science topics which his teacher claims to have completed.
Have the PSLE booklet...will check out answer later

My guess, becos there are blood vessels there and the ears are further away from main body (so will be cooler already). Bigger it is, the more exposure there will be to cooling elements in the environment.

After Brenda10's mention of the ears and PSLE2010, I think this series of books will spike in popularity. hee hee. -

If there is time, it's useful to read the books...since it's not so dry compared to textbook.

Haha. In fact dd had read quite a lot of this type of korea transfer version comics but more in the CL verison. However, end of the day is still good to read in EL version as is easier to understand those word and terms that related to Science. -
Brenda10,
I was tempted to buy the chinese books becos they are cheaper (ie via dangdang), but DS1 would NEVER touch those books becos of the language. I was so happy to see the english version in bookfest last year that I grabbed a few - in the mood, he can polish off one in a day. More money paid, but at least he read. -

Hi hquek
I borrow those chinese books from library after dd bought a few from the book fair lah.
As for EL version, I think is still a good investment as picture talk a lot of words lah. Most important is they love to read. -
