What's so good about anderson? Why is it so popular? It isn't affiliated to anderson sec. Can anyone pls enlighten me? We can apply under phase 2a but wonder if theRe's any merit in going there? How about teck ghee and Townsville?
I know a few parents PV at Anderson Primary School and found out that APS provides a holistic approach. They have a strong parent-teacher support to enhance the students' learning. Not to be mention that it is still considered a 'young' school even though it is the by-product from the merging of 3 old primary schools. 2010 PSLE result top scorer is 272. Their attractiveness are the holistic programmes like school-based excellence, talent scouting program called IMAS which I feel is similar to GEP but they are entirely 2 different program, school overseas excursions called overseas learning journeys program, some of their ccas are pretty strong too, their pupils also get to go for the NSW international competitions which I thought most commonly found in GEP schools but I was wrong!
To conclude, I believe in the long run aps is ready to get to the top school list soon. I am just amazed of what they have achieved so far being a school of 10 years old only. I think u would be impressed as me when you visit their school website. This is just my humble opinion only of why aps is so popular.
P.S.: Another not so important point is I like their school uniform. Don't have to worry about white shoes or uniform becoming dirty easily cos their shoes are black and uniform are not of the lighter shade color, hehehee. -
Anyone can help me to evaluate between Anderson and Teck Ghee in ang mo kio. My concern is more on the holistic area such as character building and the mannerism culture
