wcw,
which schools are AGPS and NVPS ? -
hi, all,
the only time when i wa this stressed was when i was collecting my exam resultsโฆ
have since popped countless panadols to reduce the headache and really, unwarranted stress.
I 'm really praying that my girl gets haigโs under 2c beyond 2km. so many friends have assured me that it will be a breeze, but somehow i just will not believe itโฆ -
now it is very hard to gauge the chances even for those living within 1-2 km.
but best wished to all. -
wimdils:
Take good care Wimdils, too many panadols' not good for health. Like many of us here, the ultimate result is beyond our control so just bear in mind that you have already done your best.hi, all,

With Rulang reducing their intake by 1 class or 30, I estimate that about 50% of the PVs will not be successful at phase 2B this year. I am one of those unfortunate PVs.

then the school should have reduced the PV intake 2yrs back..... unless they want free labour.... -
KSP:
I do not think they foresee this reduction, which is likely to be due to the school upgrading and getting ready for single session. They only accepted the PVs last Sep. Sigh!alng:

Hi alng,
Don't get too worried, just continue to monitor first. You mean you were accepted as PV last year? Are you within 1km of Rulang? If yes, you still can try for 1km in phase 2C if *touchwood* can't get in .alng:

Sometimes it is difficult for the school to plan for PV too, given there are external factors (upgrading, grassroot, huay guan, etc.) that they are not aware of. If they accept too few PVs, difficult for them and many disappointed parents applying for PVs. If they accept too many PVs, disappointed PVs who can't get into school.Hi alng,

No, I am outside 2km and have all along been prepared to ballot at phase 2B. From last 2 years' of stats, there is a high chance of getting in at phase 2B even with balloting. But it is different now. My estimation for Rulang this year is as follows:
Total - 270
Phase 1 - 138
Phase 2A - 78 (estimate to be the same as 2010 and 2009)
Phase 2B - 27 (there are 51 PVs this year. Looks like balloting will be conducted at within 1 km now.)
Phase 2C โ 27
