79 is still lower than last yr which is 51% >90. So should be happy that there are 10+ vacancies more from phase 1 (compared with last yr). Keep cool!:yikes: an increase of 36 from day 1...
from only 43 to now 79...
180 - 79 = 101 for 2A1 onwards...
so starting 05 Jul.... i gt to be pumping blood to my heart everyday else i faint, js by looking at the results...

MMM:
But if you can find the report book, that would better.LKVM:
Under phase 2A2, a document is required to prove that one is a former student of the school, is the PSLE certificate acceptable? The primary school is printed on the PSLE certificate. Thanks.
Yes PSLE cert is acceptable!!
I recalled registering under 2A1 4 yrs ago. I still have my report book but maybe too kanchiong, I somehow forgot to bring. I showed them my PSLE cert with the school name but they were still asking for report book. I recalled as my status is further supported by being in the alumni, they stopped asking...
Thanks very much, MMM and LKVM. -

KSP:
There was no major change in the no of PVs as compared to last year. I thought since the announcement of school upgrading was only made end of last year, they might not know the reduction of intake when they finalised the PVs.
the school should be informed at least 2yrs back.... they have more than enough to make the adjustment for the PV intake since it was only last Sep....alng:
I do not think they foresee this reduction, which is likely to be due to the school upgrading and getting ready for single session. They only accepted the PVs last Sep. Sigh!

Dear Parents,
I would be registering my boy to Henry Park and we live less than 1km to Henry Park. Whatβs the possibility in getting into the sch w/o balloting in Phase 2C? High? The intake for 2012 is 30 less than previous years. -
atmashi:
I would say frankly that possibility of getting into sch w/o balloting is not high unless there is a drastic drop in application. Reason being if you look thru past years history, the only year with 1-2km ballot is last year. All other years have to ballot within 1km. Moreover, with a reduction of 30 less intake, this is not gonna help the situation.Dear Parents,

You can check up on the ballot history in KSP http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/bukit-timah -

As you can see, from 2006 - 2007, there were balloting at P2C for those <1km. In 2008 just nice P2C demand = supply for <1km. But 2009, there was balloting again for those < 1km, while in 2010 all those <1km got in and balloting was conducted for those bet. 1 - 2 km.
This yr with the reduction of 1 class, based on HP's track records, I think there's a high chance of balloting for <1km. BUT anything can happen, so it's best to monitor the situation and have a backup in case you do not wish the risk of balloting.
Good luck -

why worry so much? unless the possibility of balloting is going to affect your decision of whether to ballot anot, if not, don't overstress yourself. even if with balloting, you still get to ballot as you are within 1km.
3yrs back, i monitored registration status at BPPS cos past records showed balloting within 1-2km. I was so happy thinking that i would be able to ballot. then eventually found out reduction in 1 class and so balloting restricted to those within 1km. :heresmyfish:
unless you have better and safer alternatives, go for HPPS! but regardless, always have a backup plan and move on from there.
Good luck! -
