      ateo:

when u have such a good enrollement and every parents of sengkang drooling to put their ds/dd into this school. i do not think the principal give a damn about orientation, open house, tour or whatsoever.

but i wonder how true. i heard that unless attention is only given to the top 3 classess of each grade. it appear that this focusing their resource on the best student rather than the weak one...probably they have to maintain their reputation of churning out good students. As compare to a new school whereby they place emphasis on the general well being of all to make sure they achieve a high percentage of passing rate.
yes, that's what we thought too.. snob culture of those in high demand...
with over 40% already placed at this stage, i think the chances of getting in is even lower.

        sushigal:
Compassvale and North Spring are good school. Gals are now in North Spring. I like the way the new principal runs the programmes.

Please don't ever go to North Vista. Got gals out from there.
        .
could u share with us what happened at north vista?
i read that they use some unconventional method.. no textbooks but storybook & worksheet teaching. and no homework

is it something like the aussies do? only lunch box & jacket can be found in the children's bags.

            Hi

I have shared in the forum under the North Vista school. Maybe you like to take a look at Pg 12 & 13.

            http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=4488&start=110

            Hope that will help.
