is teacher's day celebration on 1st or 2nd of sep? if it falls on 2nd, not sure if have lessons as usual? planning a trip up to malacca and may consider \"ponteng\" on 2nd sep if there are no lessons. Any clues anyone?

Teacher's day this year is on 2nd Sep. See here :

Think from this year onwards, both Teachers and Children's day will be on the first friday of Sep and Oct respectively.

Yes my girl said they had the hearing check up on Tuesday but yesterday didn't do anything. The vacinations going to take place this week right? Any idea can go swimming after that?

yes … my son had his ear and eye checks two days ago. He also had his vacination on Tuesday.

I understand from my son (P1) that his class took some MOE test on Wednesday during recess time. It sounded like some MCQ IQ tests with an answer key with their particulars (including birth cert number) pre-printed. They are required to shade their answers in one of the small circles My son fedback that he could not complete the paper and could not answer some questions. Is any parent aware of that and can shed some light ? Tks.

Yes My girl did the test too but it was tuesday... Think she finished the paper but said there are some questions she was not too sure...

Do you think we should check with the FT what is this test about?

Oh so vacination was given on Tuesday?? My girl said today leh... and I am worrying about the after effect of the jab... she's got swimming class on Sunday.
