St Margaret's Primary

Hi magic mushroom,
I work around the same area so I can send her. She just has to take the school bus back! Hmmm, really wonder how long it will take before she gets a place in the school. I am going to submit the form, results etc on Monday. Anyone else who got your daughters transfered to SMPS
from other schools? Please share you experiences :sad:magic mushroom:
St Margaret's is an anglican school. Tat means if you choose to put your daughter in this school, she WILL be exposed to Christian values and morals!
Not all of us are Christians, a majority of us are, though. We welcome non Christians but you must be open to the idea of your child learning about GOD.
We do daily devotion as per any other Christian school. Non Christians are welcomed to sit out.

Yes, dh will send her to school everyday then to work. But I'm abit worry for hubby, he is not use to wake up learly coz he normally goes to work around 12pm. I dun mind to send dd to school everyday coz I'm used to wake up early. But DH said her school is nearer to his work place, so he volunteer to send her.

Hi mummies,
need some advise here.
I’m sourcing for school for my girl for 2013 intake.
Here are the things I have, please advise if I shld go for MGS.
1. I am baptised but not an active member of the church under Anglican Diocese of Singapore
2. My house is more than 2km form MGS (i stay in Sengkang)
3. My girl is taken care by my prents in law who are staying in Hougang
Shld I try for MGS (phase 2B) or just forget abt it and source for a school in sengkang/hougang area (phase 2C).
Thanks! -
Am helping my friend to ask as her DD is registering for P1 this year
How much is the school fee for SMPS per month? It is an independent school, autonomous schoold or government school?
She is toggling between SCGS and SMPS. But SCGS school fee is too high. $350 per month -
Hi,
SMPS is a govt aided school. SCGS primary is not autonomous. Only SMSS and SCGS secondary are autonomous and I believe they are the ones which charge $300 over for school fees. Getting into SCGS is very difficult if you live outside 2km. SMPS usually has balloting for those outside 2km -
p.a.r.e.n.t.s:
Only SCGS secondary is independent, which means their school fees are >$200. All primary schools in Singapore pay the exact same school fee.Am helping my friend to ask as her DD is registering for P1 this year

Noticed the app rate for this yr p 2b is only 26 vs 72 (available place)… Looks pretty low to me. Anyone knows wat is the no of app in 2b last year? Hubby was asking… anything wrong ??? Why so few …?
