We were surprised too when he mentioned that.. that's why the vacancies dropped for this year registration..hot:

errr... MP Gan came over last night to tell me that SV will be implementing single session next year..
Really?? That’s strange.. I spoke to the teachers during the open house on 25 Jun, they also said unlikely le..
However, If that is true, it would be a great news to me :rahrah: .
Can check again when going for the registration..

Me? i will go on 11 July. Settle it once and for all, then wait for 19 July.
But but but why \"MP Gan came over last night to tell me\" specifically huh?
Have you raised the question to him b4?
Since it was from MP’s mouth, can I confirm to say SV will be going to single session next yr? -

You can call sch admin to find out before registration. During this P1 registration period, they have Q&A prepared to answer parents who called up to enquire.
I have asked SV admin, they told me 2016! -
After reading all the post, felt like a really REALLY lousy parent. Didn’t do PV, no alumnus, didnt move to near good sch.
My twins r registering for P1 this mth under P2c. I m staying in woodlands. Wat sch should I choose? All average only?
Feeling Very depressed… Twins…any wrong move, and is multiplied by 2…
If only I hv join this forum earlier… Any advice is most welcome… -

Dun say u r a lousy mummy. Good school doesn't guarantee Good Grades. There's a lot of good students from average neighbourhood school. After reading all the post, felt like a really REALLY lousy parent. Didn't do PV, no alumnus, didnt move to near good sch.

Sometimes, I see neighbourhood sch teachers putting in more effort to teach, and the students are also given more opportunities and space for growth. For some good schs, teachers may just skim thru' topics as most kids may have learned from external tuition (which parents will have engaged), and the result is need to put your kids into tuition to ensure they can catch up.

I also heard fr friends whose kids r in 'branded sch' about this problem. Just hope that that twins will work hard n not feel inferior that most friends r in these good sch. Thank u..

@Twin_mum - Dont worry too much. Most children come together to play. They hardly compare which school is better or how many marks they score. Only the parents compare.
