This is both so angry and so sad to read......

China and Taiwan cuisine are so yummy, cheap, famous and so many variety but unfortunately, the reputation is tarnished by unscrupulous
people who cast their conscience aside for $$$. Yesterday's chinese papers reported about poisoned recycled cooking oil in China that has actually become a booming industry with proper supply chain and billions of revenue yearly. The oil has actually being sold to restaurants and supermarkets knowingly or unknowingly. Imagine housewives who actually make effort to buy fresh produce but end up cooking with the poisoned oil to prepare dishes everyday.... :yikes:

before the additional poisonous substances, taiwan’s food very nice de.

Sorry for what has happened to the parents- Mr & Mrs Zhang - I would like to hold all accountable for causing this to a young, healthy baby- just unacceptable… and nobody should deny the fact that although whats’ happened is happened- how can that be… ? Where is our humanity people?
If this means stemming out all China products I will… but why aren’t things changing is not what I will ask but rather- what can we do to prevent this anymore?
How can we ‘help things go right’ which is an ArbingerPyramid my workplace currently practices in preventing collusion in communities- rather than spending time and effort wasting on ‘what went wrong.’ -
read from Chinese papers yesterday:'
a laundry co in Beijing which cleans pillow cases/blankets for a China airline co was revealed by a undercover reporter of their unhygienic practices:
1. all the blankets/pillow cases/towels sent to be cleaned were only checked with naked eye for any stains. If there isn't, then they are re-fold and re-pack again for the next flight.
2. Only the dirty ones are washed with soap powder, no sterilising done.
3. Out of 3000 pcs they handled daily, only about 600-700 are washed
the rest returned without any cleaning.
:yikes: :yikes:
