also a gd idea to let someone he trust to teach him, like his grandpa or daddy[/quote]cannot rely on the daddy to teach. he super no patience. kids super scare of him (me too! :oops:). the daddy only stepped into to teach ds1 (academic) when ds1 is in P1. before that (even until now), the daddy remains the authoritative figure in their lives (he seldom scold them. he just need to stare, and they/we will go jelly ). lolz.

I know how you feel, I was thinking of placing DD2 in Nanhua and shifting DD1 over from whichever P1 sch she could be in.

Submitted PV form for Nanhua after managing to convince the in charge to let me try though due date was over. 2 weeks later, rejection letter came, man, never thought such things can make me cry :faint:

Spoke to ex hubby and he offered suggestion to place DDs for plmgs since he stays less than 1km from the school. keeping fingers crossed there is no balloting. based on history, balloting is for 1-2km.

We decide on NH coz at time time our DD2 not born yet (secretly hoping to have a son :evil:) Now I sort of prefer PLMGS but too late coz we dun want to move anymore

usually P3 onwards but not sure if every school does it..

What enrichments do you send for your 2006 child?


For my girl, she’s now learning phonics and swimming. For the maths and chinese, we teach from home. I may sent her to reading programme this year. At school, she’s has abacus, art and Chinese S&D.
