What enrichments do you send for your 2006 child?

For my girl, she’s now learning phonics and swimming. For the maths and chinese, we teach from home. I may sent her to reading programme this year. At school, she’s has abacus, art and Chinese S&D.

        DD2
        - Swimming
        - Chinese Enrichment

For school, paying extra for art and craft

At Home, DIY reading programme by yours truly 😛

hi all, has anyone received the letter from MCYS on opening CDA for your 2006 kid? We haven’t received anything. Just wondering coz the website says by Jun 2011. The opening of the CDA is to receive the child development credit which our child is entitled to.

WCW, we chose Standard Chartered for our 2nd kid. The benefit is that we are able to link one SCB eSaver account to the CDA. The eSaver account will also earn interest at 1%, which is better than most fixed deposit interest rates with no lock-in period.

can talk more about the esaver? I called stanchart and they seemed clueless. They forgot my babybonus card and I had to call them twice to remind them.. so experience with them isn't that positive...

the daddy remains the authoritative figure in their lives (he seldom scold them. he just need to stare, and they/we will go jelly 😓). lolz.
