Are you registering this year? Given that you are old girl of Ai Tong and given that you stay within 1km from Rosyth (it's not near to Ai Tong but it's not far either), propose that you stick to Ai Tong for peace of mind. Maybe register under Ai Tong first and see the situation for Rosyth later on.

Worst case is losing both.....

hi, called Yangzheng. The person said the take up rate for 2A and 2B not so many. So shouldn't be problem for phrase 2C since I stay within 1 km.


On the issue of good schools, from my experience, it doesnt matter which school you go to. I have friends/ relatives whose sons and daugthers are from Roysth , Ai Tong, St Hilda, Tao Nan yet their PSLE result are just average.
I have a collegue who even transferred her girl out of Henry Park and go to no so well known girl school go that her girl can go at her pace and do better with more confidence.
A neighbour of mine is a hairdresser . Her two children were from Yangzheng. She can't coach her children and She didnt spend any $$ on any enrichment classes/ tutitions on her children.Instead, her children brought back the $$ ( from awards) from School - Her girl and boy scored 250 and 263 respectively. Now, her girl is in the Uni in Australia on scholarship program.
More importantly, is the child .

Actually, the best approach is to secure a place under Ai Tong under Phase 2A2. For rosyth, just monitor on last day of phase 2C. If you think, you stand a good chance, withdraw from Ai Tong and register in Rosyth. If not, then forget it.

Maybe your parents don't understand what parents go through nowadays for P1 registration. It's not as easy as their era. It's very real. If you don't get into rosyth, you will lose Ai Tong. By then, your only selection are those schools leftover from phase 2c supplementary. Not forgetting that Rosyth dropped 30 places this year and they are also moving to a temp school in AMK next year.

So just go with Ai Tong first and decide later if you've a chance.

Yes, this is a legitmate way. Eg. you register for P2A2 next week.

If Rosyth chances are good in Phase 3. eg. on last day of registration, you need to withdraw from Ai Tong and then register at Rosyth. At any one point, you can only register once. Abit of hassle but it's definitely worth it. But I strongly believe Rosyth P3 within 1km must ballot.

But if chances is not good, then you just stick with Ai Tong, you've nothing to lose as at least your child already secure a place with Ai Tong.

Pls take note of that as P2A2 is next week. Don't lose this opportunity to register.

Yes, Rosyth looks very challenging. Go for the safer bet. Good luck!
