Hi MajimoHi All,
Any feedback regarding Cherie Hearts Precious Tots located at Jalan Gelenggang?
Appreciated any inputs.
Majimo
I just visited the place as I am also evaluating the CCs near my house for my dd2, and will also appreciate any feedback anyone may have here on that CC.
From my visit, I feel that the place looks generally well run and the children appears happy and at ease. The teachers all have a dip in early childhood education (i was told) and the one that i interacted with briefly speaks good english and mandarin. The principal of coz speaks proper english.
I m not really great at evaluating the curriculum, but I don't really like the part on them only introducing phonics to N2 and above. I remember that my dd1 was introduced to phonics since N1 in her pre-school.
Another drawback for me is that the place is fully air-con which I don't really like. Although i was told that they have morning walks and playground time at the little park/ playground just outside their place.
Haven't really made up my mind yet. How about you? Have you visited any other CC around that area? Any comments or feedback? -
Hi,
Cherie Hearts recently opened one at Westlake Avenue (near MacRitchie Reservoir). Any comments? I think it’s only 6-12 months old. -
Any good review or feedback on the following Cherie Hearts in terms of before school care or after school care (Primary)?

There have been some concern over Cherie Hearts expanding too fast, so some parents prefer to go to the Cherie Hearts that have been set up for a longer period of time. The concern was that with them acquiring and taking over existing centres with existing teachers, the training may not be as 'good' (some say it's easier to train fresh teachers with no baggage of prior cultures and demands - kind of like the philosophy that it's easier to train new maids than maids with experience :D). So far the Cherie Hearts that I've visited - I don't have a great impression of many of them. Perhaps the best that I've seen is the one at Harbourfront. But I still think the teachers are the most important. And I guess it is kind of independent whether it is Cherie Hearts or not. Although some may say that if the management is good to its staff (including teachers), the staff (and teachers) would be happier, giving a better environment to the children

There are many comments on CH.
Does anyone have any comments on the curriculum as a whole? rather than just the comments on each individual centre…?
Appreciate if someone can give some valuable comments? -
Hi there…
i’ve visit Cherie Hearts at Starhub Green.
The person in charge is very helpful and friendly.
The centre is very clean and neat, spacious, bright …
My son seems to like the place very much… he even used the toilet there. Why i say that…? My son is someone that will not use the public toilet or outside toilet. He must have feel neat enough, comfortable enough that he would want to use…
I will let him go for a trial one week during the september hoilday…
i will post more after his trial lesson…
