Any P1 parents here? Anyone has already been informed of the CL class allocated for your child for next year already? Anyone knows when will this allocation/banding for Chinese be made known ( first week of P2??)?

My son is currently in P2 only knows about allocation by P2 1st week.

Hi Wolfgirl, P1&P2 still attends school on PSLE days. Only 14-18 Oct, PSLE Marking no school for all. But after that, it's SA all the way for P1&2.

You may like to refer to a Term 4 Pupils Calendar of Events and Assessment Plan given at start of T4 for clearer info.

I'm staying punggol central, child in P1 now. Pick up at 11.15am, reach school bout 12pm. School finishes 6.20pm and he'll reach home about 7.30pm.

Yes, my son could recognize that they are from a certain primary one class. But it would not be right for me to name it here.


Another question is, according to the rules, the kids are supposed to be in the hall by 1220. What if the kids are still at the canteen taking their lunch etc? Will the teachers come and look for them? Or will they be considered late for school?

The kids having lunch because of after CCA right?
Anyone can advise?

Hi alwayslucky, my son is from P1 too. As I volunteered during 1st 2 weeks of school, I've observed that they do arrive early. My son who took school bus arrives at 12pm, he'll go straight to hall. But I noticed some children do play around. Kids have lunch after CCA about 1130am, but CCA only started in this week.
You may email the FT on your queries, so far my son's FT has been responsive.

Are the spelling days the same for all p1 classes?

My son is from 1A, his spelling is Monday. Chinese spelling, no spelling list or day info yet, just like hellokittyspore, assessing from 3 chapters of textbook.

The enrichment program is priced very competitive. Am impressed by English literacy provider, with so many schools in their list. It’ll be great to hear some feedbacks from ‘older’ children’s parents who send them.
