My DD is attending abacus enrichment now and also attending piano lessons (group). Was thinking of signing up for Chinese enrichment classes when she starts K2 next year.

Wondering if I should start her on swimming…

        WCW:
for the CDA account for child born in 2006, must open before the expiry date. I didnt bring the letter with me, so cant give the date.

For what I know, this CDA will expire after the child turn 6 or 7yo (cant rem) then it is either u choose to withdraw out everything or put it in the education acct (also dunoe what is that)

very blur with all these things ahahaha
i only remember last or lastlast yr posb no longer handling cda, so we opt for ocbc over standchart. if i remember correctly, the expiry of the cda account is in K2 (i remember is before P1). but i thought is either withdraw out all all put under edusave for education use?? i also not sure.
anyone has relevant website to share? TQ.

my boy is having chinese enrichment now and possibly signing up for music class at private school (tomorrow!). since music supposedly left/right brain train, if he continues, possibly not doing abacus. he is interested in art classes, but clashed with the piano timing. will see how. trying to work his extra classes around ds1's extra class schedule (both attending same time slot chinese and ds2 piano lesson is going to be around ds1's english class timing). if dont schedule like that, think we don't have any weekend left to rest and relax.

how do you coordinate?? how about holidays?

signing up either one on separate holiday programmes is a headache. while one happily go lesson, the other one have to loiter with me to wait for that one to dismiss. really not effective use of time. i try to search for those nearer to the mall so can go library with the other one. if not, we just stay at home or go to the library during holidays.
have to try to find courses that have similar timing. if over the weekend, we have bonus of 'couple-time' between me and dh :D. just last weekend, a promoter asked if we were interested to look at wedding photo-taking package! :dancing:

Wedding photo taking!! hehehe go for 2nd Honeymoon also 😄 !

must be siong if isn't same timing...

I try to get the same timings for DD1 and DD2 .. for maths, DD1 is attending so DD2 hangs around with me while DD1 does her class. Next year, will have DD2 joining DD1 at the same timing.

                Hi Kissgurami,

                Thanks.

Can I know how to add in details on the club member list on page 1 of this thread? Wanted to add in my DS's birthdate.

                Thanks

I am pretty new to this. You can posted here and I would reckon smartmummy would update Page 1?

                Smartmummy :?:

The CDA for 2006 kids will only close end 2012. So still have 1.5yrs to go. Can refer to standchart website FAQ on CDA for the details on the esaver acct. Personally that was the deciding factor for us to choose scb, since normal savings interest is so low.

She does not know how to swim but likes to \"play\". However she is pretty petite in size and that is why I have been putting off swimming lessons for her as she looks younger then her age.
