Can I ask, will there be a letter for MOE to inform us to register our kid? Or we just go to our choice of school with the required documents on the desired registration date?

      No letter..

In your opinion, am I still eligible to be considered as an old boy and register for category 2A1 ?

MOE rule only that ex-pupils who studied in that school. I recall someone only studying in a school for 1 year - also can qualify under 2A. Just turn up with your report book.

Remember to bring the report book.

            Hi Junemum72,

MOE will not send out letters informing parents when to register. There are big posters in mrt stations last year (this year I didn't see, or maybe they piak at different part of the station), and kids are distributed the brochures in their kindy. Just turn up to your desired school and register during the dates you are eligible.

            Good luck!

ya, just go during the dates you are eligible.

You will have to fill up a form when it's your turn. Remember to go on the day of the phase your child is eligible under...don't worry, not first-come-basis.
