I was seriously spooked out, until i went back to the previous threads... thank god it isn't 7th month yet if not I would have scaredmyself silly

A Section Head approach your boss and requested that they want A to work under their Dept… the boss did not agree but did not check with A as well…

Suddenly, this issue was brought up again as the boss felt that it might be better for A to move for better prospect.

A felt that status quo would be better as her relationship with the Section Head was good but might not be well if the relationship becomes ‘boss-subordinate’ and wants to seriously think about it. On top of that, the job will be totally different. Total change…

What do you think?

Better Prospect as in level up in seniority and pay or it is a transition but better future career path?

Did A speak to her boss on why he felt better that she should move on?

Sounds like A is friends with the Section Head and does not appeal from being her friend to reporting to her
