There is this NMOS booklet....only know that MathsHub selling it. It consist of some papers + the special round too. Not sure if Popular selling tho.

Hi cwc , few of my DS' P4 schoomates/classmates got into 2nd round as well . He could not believe it, as he did not complete all the Questions.
Btw,once got in will be given honorable mention at least ?

Did u buy the 2010 booklet? I believe you can practice that. You can also get from popular think there is this author called Terry Chew.

Anyone knows what is the percentage of students that is invited to the special round compared to the whole cohort? If the child gets into special round, does that mean assured of a silver/gold?

Maths hub just called me and told me my son got into the 2nd round. He is the only one got into 2nd round in his school. The namelist has not been put on NUSH webside, so I can not see on the website.

8228, I believed he got in 2nd round this year rite? Saw ur previous post asking time & venue. Think venue should be NUS high, time don't know yet. Think when DS come back from school today will check if his Math teacher gave him any information on the venue & time.

Judging from the info above, would think a silver is guaranteed. I glanced thru' the 2nd round participant list, there's about ~480 of them....so based on the yearly cohort of 10%, that should be the silver/gold group.....my guess only

Ok, will treat my son to a sundae today......but I think he'll be more ecstatic if I give him extra computer game time :boogie:
