Yes list came out over last week end. DD said A. Chem willl start this week. A. Phy list should be out today. Understand that student can opt to drop A. Chem if they do not do well end of the day.

Planning for a holiday. When is the last working day of Term 4 for JH1. Is it 18th Nov (last working day for secondary schools) or 25th Nov (based on JC calendar). TIA.

Usually last day of Term 4 is in 1st week of November - the day they check out of boarding. Bc they have to vacate the place for the A-levels, I think?

Hi Phankao, Thank you for your reply. Since the beginning of the year started on Jan 10th, I thought the end of the year will also follow the JC calendar. So based on last year the last day of the term is 1st week of Nov. Thanks.

Hmm… i think JH1 last day of boarding is 18 Nov (checking out day)? Coz term 4 boarding is from 12 Sep till 18 Nov (10 weeks)? Correct me if I’m wrong.

My kid is not in JH1. I’m planning for holidays too and was told by my kid that last day of school is 18 Nov (hope is right), so I thought/assume all level (JH1 to JH4) should be the same. I rem 2 yrs ago (if my memory did not fail me) their last day of boarding was ard mid Nov.


But as what phanko mentioned, last year boarding end on 1st week of Nov, so I may be wrong on the boarding period for this year.

Think I’ll need to double confirm the last day of school to play safe, hope will not clash with my holiday planning.

I thought the same last year. They also went into boarding right after the 1-week september break, but were out by 1st week of November (just the day before Deepavali long weekend). Check with the school or the PM.
