thks all for the reply.....just curious, for those who has registered, is the process a breeze? are there many forms to complete, etc how about waiting time?

only 1 form to complete, mainly personal particulars of parents, kid and home address. if u r worry abt waiting time, make photocopy of the necessary documents.

the form has 1 original + 2 carbon copy. parent copy will be returned to you once the registration is completed. once that phase is closed, you will receive another carbon copy mail to ur hm address. on the copy, the school will indicate if ur kid is successful or not. if successful, the P1 orientation date is indicated too.

Is the form different for different schools (in case we want to change which school we are going for within the Phase 2C days)? There are no forms to fill in before you reach the school. Any requisite forms will be given out by the school and filled in on the spot.

Above is just for reference only. Attached with duplicate forms as mentioned by Tokidoki, will be given out on the spot by individual schools.

The form is the same regardless which school you apply with. However, schools usually stamp their names on the form. This, in a way, makes the form only relevant to that particular school.

Hi mommies can anyone enlighten me on how the balloting process work? I will be in phase 2c and so results will be out on 5 August. Sorry if i am repeating questions already answered, but how do we know the results? Will the school call or send a letter? And if there is balloting, will we know on the same results day?


Am gonna try for MGS but super super slim chance as I am with 1-2km and it also seems there are not many vacancies left! Guess will just see how 2b goes!

2. If you heart cannot take the above, go to the school to ask or call the school when ballot is over.

3. Last and the most bochap is to wait for letter to arrive at your home.

if you in PA2, there should not be agony, guaranteed can go in.

Option 3 is not recommended as it is most important you know ballot results and plan for next step if needed. You need to look up back-up school and the earlier you are aware of outcome, the better you can plan.

For MGS, there are balloting within 1km for both P2B and P2C. As u r staying within 2km,i think u should find another sch as plan B.

ya, I know most likely MGS no hope so plan B is CHIJ OLQP and hopefully I have a higher chance there!

Think once phase 2B is completed.. you will have a better picture whether is balloting is required...
