I remember playing in those huge drains... Canals... Scooping up tadpoles and BBQ-ing them over fire on a stick.

      :yikes: Buds, you BBQed tadpoles?
So were they delicious?  :siam:

cwc, chanced upon your post here .....

:salute: and :hugs: to you ....
        Hi Autumnbronze,
thanks.....but sometimes, feel really really :gloomy: , the MIL is no joke and neither is FIL. Recently, he has turned bad tempered, would shove his plates/bowl/food and spit his phelgm everywhere or onto his hand and just fling!!! I really dunno how much can I tolerate and MIL is just making things worse with her yells and scoldings (can't touch me too much....so she'll go after the maid loh....but I get angry cos' I think she's being ridiculous and I can't stand all the yellings. For goodness sake, this is my home, it's supposed to be quiet and peaceful  :stompfeet: )

Sorry, guess a little off topic and upset now....cos' just had another encounter with her....no matter how happy I was, step into house will get fedup.

How is your little one? Actually just went to a 1-month celebration of a friend.....holding a baby is always so peaceful (that is when they are sleeping πŸ˜‰ ).

Wow, so nice that most of your dh can do housework...

That's how he lured me into marrying him! When we were studying overseas, he cooked for me, cleaned my room, washed my clothes, carried my heavy school everyday.

So sweet of your DH! πŸ˜„

                    Definitely better, thanks.
Usually after all are asleep, I will calm down. Sometimes, just pity my kids cos I tend to lose temper over small trivial matters when I'm all worked-up.....sigh.
