There are mystery shopper jobs, flexible timing, but not regular income because on project basis. However, it's fun to be involved in such assignments because able to learn useful information.

My experience is different from the blogger. It depends on the project. I was happy with my assignments.

To have that 'freedom' and be able to spend time with their loved ones, given a choice, quite a number of parents would prefer to work from home, such as internet marketing and other online businesses, and online job like data entry. Wondering what else we can do at home to earn money? Are hairdressing, baking or giving tuition good choices?

I am afraid very few of us can \"have the cake and eat it\". This desire to have the best of both worlds have been discussed to death and till this day I have yet to meet someone who has \"found it\". But the fraudsters understand this desire to look after our family and do something and hence we see all these online advertisements for data-entry, day trading, etc.

To make things worse, we are a nation of HDB flat dwellers and are subject to so many rules when we try to take a stab at being a small time entrepreneur. It is illegal to turn to your flat into a small time bakery or factory.

But that is Singapore for us. It is like trying to produce world class footballers but not allowing kids to kick a football around in open spaces.

I heard there is a so-called HDB's 'home office scheme' which we can apply for approval to do certain businesses, such as hairdressing and etc.

                Saw this link

Think there is a list of businesses not allowed on the 'home office scheme'

                      Hi all,

Just wanted to enquire, if there are genuine companies, which allow/require data entry kind of work, from home, in Singapore.

                      Thanks
