Maid:
Ha. My dog waits under the dining table during dinner. Any food accidentally dropped will disappear instantly. She's also my doggie vacuum.Haha, not sure if I told you about this before, but my dog's nickname is \"Rubbish Bin\", \"Scavenger\" and \"Vacuum Cleaner\"! Since she came, my house no longer has any ants crawling around. She goes around licking (cleaning my kitchen floor)! :slapshead:
And guess what's she's doing now? Nudging me for her dinner! Her dinner is at 4pm everyday!

Happy Mama:
Yes they are so lovable.  So does Little Black Dog get jealous?

No, Little Black Dog loves them as much as I do. She will not harm them and in fact, when the little hamsters are taken out and put into the 'hamster run' for some exercises, Little Black Dog will either sit beside the 'hamster run' and watch or would lick one or two of them, making them look like wet dead rats! -

That's so cute. So much entertainment going on in your home by way of the furry critters.

A Maltese is also good with kids, but it requires a lot of companionship. If your child doesn't mind having the dog follow her all over all day and wanting to play, then this is a nice dog. I've always wanted a Maltese but my husband loves big dogs.
