My cousin dropped out Piano from NAFA. It’s too stressful… I think the system and style of teaching is like that… More gearing and drilling at NAFA… nothing against the school but I think the teaching style is more like that of China.

Barbie-doll, Dancepointe (esp Taman Jurong branch) is pretty good. I use to play for them as an accompanist before I moved.

            Hi,

Is it true NAFA Ballet does not need to take exams? AS compared to SBA, which is better?

SBA is well-established and is the oldest ballet school in Singapore. The students there take RAD exams.

NAFA runs its own ballet programme and the students do not take RAD nor CSTD exams.

RAD exams are the most recognized internationally.

You’re welcome, i3mum. Call them and put your dd’s name down for their next class enrolment.

Hi, in fact NAFA has started implementing the RAD exam for Ballet this year for Grade 1, Grade 3 and Grade 5. The test is optional but they encourage the stundents to sit for the test.

                    Hope the above information useful.

Note: you may want to check with them for more details.
