Left-handed: 3.5yrs old - how to train?

Hi mummy2008!

My suggestion is ask him to bring something,observe which hand is he using.Observe whenever he do something other than studies what hand he is using for.Then decide.
I heard from one of my friends,her son also using both hand and comfortably.Some people has this talent also.
I think all children don’t know which hand to use in early years.I also confused with my son.Then my sister suggested the above I mentioned in the beginning of the paragraph.I wait for my son then I decided that he is right hander.

My DD2 is also a left-handed and recently I realise that my 22 month old bb is also too :imcool: . I did not insist that they switch to the right-handed although knowing the \"inconveniences\" it will bring in the future. But as soon as my DD2 started pre-school 3 years ago, I have made it known to the school that she is a left-handed and she might encounter certain problems - like writing will be not \"straight\", etc....But so far so good, she is doing well and she is now in K2.

I noticed that DS2 might be a left-hander when he first used his left hand to hold his spoon. I just matter of factly, took the spoon from his left hand and transferred it to his right. After a few times, he got the message and learnt to use his right hand. This also applied when he used his left hand to hold a pencil. There was no protests etc cos I didn't make a fuss over it. Other than eating and writing, I'm not bothered which hand he used. However, I do notice that once he's used to holding spoon and pen in his right hand, it become of habit to hold other things with the same hand. I was \"lucky\" to have caught him young cos DH and some of his family members are left-handed and I can see how inconvenient it has been for them including DH. I was really on the look out. :boogie:

My ds too... think he 'inherit from the daddy's side.. both dh and his brother are all left handed.. hm.. come to think of it.. most of the guys in his family.. are left handed..

:hi5: :snuggles: Come to think of it, I didn't even know of any leftie gal classmates in my entire pri sch days, only 1 Malay gal in sec, and only 1 in JC class. Leftie gals quite rare hor? BTW I also have a 2002 kid like you! :hi5:
