I was quite disappointed with the Virgin flight. The cabin wasn't well maintained and the seats were almost falling apart. Give me SQ anytime. Service-wise they were ok.you can fly to London on SQ or a variety of airlines
from London, take Virgin Atllantic. You won't be disappointed. VS is even better than SQ in service, and VS fare to Orlando is cheap...especially now the sterling pound is only $2. -

for november 2011 travel dates, S'pore to Orlando is S$2558 per person incl all taxes and surcharges....
for SQ, S'pore - NY alone is S$2823 per person before adding r/t NY-Orlando
There are 5 of us. Having started playing... already need to spend 5x$2558 = $12K liao.... :moneyflies: :moneyflies:
We are planning to go there immediately after DS1 decides on his Secondary School. He is taking PSLE this yr. -
Is it possible to fly to Washington, stay few nights there for museums, white house, lincoln memorial, then fly to Orlando for theme parks ?
Anyone with experience with such a route to share ? -

different planes?
My flight from SG to HK ,HK to Chicago (biz class aka upper crust  ) was really good. Sat at the upper deck
Flight back from Chicago to HK was somewhat a different experience but I noticed it was an older plane as well... so maybe that happened for virgin? -

Then I was v unlikely to get an older plane. Or maybe my standards too high having been spoilt by SQ.jtoh:
