          What level is this question?

          Assuming all 3 of them are running at their constant speed throughout the race, the difference between A and C is 20m?[/i]

                Wow ... RGPS not on the top 10 list. NANYANG PRIMARY not in Final. :shock: Rosyth, Catholic High and Nan Hua in the Final. Rosyth is big winner.

                  Hi All,

                  Just curious, are the participants P5 or P6.

                  It seems that I do not recognise any of the participants from Nan Hua. My boy is in P6 this year and according to what I know, those friends of his who participated is not in this list.

                  :?

                    let's use simple ratio

                    A :B :C
                    100:90
                    ------>100:90
                    1000:900:810
                    =>100:90:81

                    100 - 81 = 19
                    Albert beat Chris by 19 m

                      The NMOS exam round 1 was relatively easy. Any students who have decent calculation skills and good logical mind should be able to do well. Round 2 was rather difficult.

                      I have only one question for Kiasiparent.
                      Have any of your offsprings won a gold or silver medal for any Maths Olympiad WITHOUT any training?

                      lim jeck has neither received formal training in primary school (a neighbourhood sch, not any of the GEP schools who get maths trainers to teach the p4-6 GEP maths) nor in any training centres. he only gets the maths training at NUS High (part of the school maths curriculum) and at NUS (after doing well in SMO and got selected into the national-level training teams).

                      I think external training is not necessary if one is passionate about the subject and has some talent in it.

                        Hi Edanson,

                        It is mostly for P5. Some P4 students who are good in competition math can participate and not P6.
