It depends on the parents lah. Some into the rat race, some don't want.

If given a choice.. i won't wan my kids to b in the rat race.. Unless my kids tell me tat they wan to.. den bo bian.. :roll:

Some schools start during orientation. They want to find out who are the weaker ones and they will have LSP in P1, to help them catch up.

Now.. pri sch havent start also stressed liao.. stress starts so early.. no wonder so many kids so young nid to go counselling sessions.. :skeptical:

Aiya depend on how parents see it. (Relax now and stress later in primary school because cannot catch up) Is it better for the child? I also don't know. For me, I start young. DD will not throw tantrum or blink an eye if I ask her to do worksheets. This is cos she don't know wat is stress and wat is relax. Everyday routine the same. Go enrichment, do worksheet alrdy then can play toys or watch TV. Then school holidays go oversea n enjoys. It is a routine she falls into to prepare for primary school.

So tough to find ppl who used to do sports n will talk abt it.

I only took up track n field as cca back during sch days for both short 100-200m n long distance running.was better at long distance though so continued tat till end of secondary life.switched to compete in other sports after. Shud get our kids to have some exercise life too. Trains their attitude for sports.

Woo,primary sch days I played netball (that is how I know Rosyth is so strong and determined :-p) , with secondary sch, they didn't have netball so ended joining their track field , took the 800m and 1500 as my pet events. after secondary, I did track for a year and stopped. got sick of running !!!
