      phtthp:
past few years record showed not so many taken up for Ai Tong, under P2A2. This year extraordinary, Scary!

if today Day2 of P2A2 have exactly another 46 ex Ai Tong alumni parents go down to register -> means all P2A2 go in. Then everything close shop liao! P2B and P2C gone case, no chance.

but if today Day2 > another 46 alumni AT parents register, means balloting will take place ... for all P2A2 parents who had registered.

qn is ... is it possible for another 46 AT parents to go down today to register ? what year is 2005 ? 2005 is the year of the 'Golden ROOSTER'. Not Dragon, so ...

hope no need to ballot for P2A2. Otherwise, if balloting unsuccessful, may consider ... Marymount, with lots of vacancies left.

based on this unique year's experience, maybe those with kids born in 2006 enrolling for Ai Tong next year - can consider moving up to P2A1 rank.
Heard the latest is 108 so no ballot for P2A2.

Yes, there will be a influx of people registering for alumni. But I recalled need to be in alumni as of certain time frame?????

        time is now 6.10 pm.

assuming Ai Tong number stabilise at 108 for P2A2, means remaining vacancies left is 38.

Ai Tong dun accept parent volunteers, right ? But still got RC grassroot leaders ?

if Ai Tong dun have P2B, means all remaining 38 seats will go to P2C, right ?

maybe 2005 is year of Rooster, so dun have this scenario whereby all seats snapped up by P2A2.

but if it is year of the DRAGON, then possible. In Dragon year, balloting under P2A2 can happen.

Cannot believe that AT can be hotter than CH this year. If only some of the boys trying for AT would go CH, then maybe my dd got chance. Oh well. I am quite firm that KCPPS will be where we will register next week

Actually, CH added one more class this year, otherwise it would be hotter than AT. There will be some drop outs/withdrawals from Phase 1 and 2A1/2 which will be subsequently added back to 2B and 2C pool.

AT has clan members. Sure have P2B.
Furma, you should monitor how many register at P2B to gauge your chance, esp if you are within 1km. I'm always advocate of registering at a sch nearest to home.

Academic domain...is their curriculum up to standard?exams tough?

U mentioned bad teachers...in wat aspect?attitude or in terms of handling children or...?
Curriculum in spore schs all have a certain standard. During the PSLE 2 years back, my kid mentioned that the sch's english prelims paper was much tougher than the PSLE paper.

Aiya! Bad teachers every sch also have! Those that don't teach properly, those with attitude problems, those that play favouritism. I just tell my kids these are the same problems that you'll see when you come out to work next time. Nothing new. The kids have to be taught to work around the problems. Good or bad teachers, they still have to study hard and do their best.
