For RVPS in P2B, I think there is not need to ballot regardless of distance, according to historical data

For P2C, I think balloting will be required for 1-2km

RVPS will be my back up in P2C as I stay almost next to it

I am going for ACJS in P2B and stay within 1-2km of it. Looks like there is no need to ballot for my boy. I hope! I am praying very hard for it

Agreed. I have both options of ACJS(1-2km) and ACPS (<1km) in 2B. In my case no need to ballot for ACJS and need to for ACPS.
So I am going for the sure bet

I am no expert in this but here's my 2 cent worth :


Both ACJS and ACPS belongs to the ACSian family of schools which is under he Methodist Church.

ACPS is housed in the Baker Road campus with the ACS secondary school, while ACJS is by itself in Canhill

Traditionally ACPS has a longer history and more old boys. Hence explaining the quick uptake in its vacancy from Phase 1 to 2. Plus they have a smaller intake.

Academic wise, I don't know what's the difference except ACPS has GEP program and ACJS student who qualify for it has to be transfer there.

Facilities wise, ACPS been in Baker Road campus has more and a swimming pool while ACJS doesn't. Swimming CCA in ACJS is conducted in Keppel Club

I am an old boy of the secondary school, not the primary school. During my time, the better to do students come from ACJS. Don't know about now.

But what I like about the ACS culture is its emphasis on character development. The boys are more outspoken and confident. Maybe that gives the impression of the ACS boys are cocky. But I beg to differ.

Point to note, the alumus is very strong. ACSian are very proud of their school. All my good friends who I still hang out with are from ACS. Which school old students can say the same
