hehe... i also think so.... if at home, i will usually switch off the TV but if at my ils' place, cannot switch off the TV...

so its behind closed doors inside the room... haha...

My DD1 is a TV-addict. So since mid last year, I have imposed a rule - no TV from Mon -Thu. Homework time is from 8-9pm without TV distraction.
      haiz..my little monkey.. :slapshead:

My rule is no TV from Mon-Fri (weekdays). After we return from mum's place at 8, they are to get homework and spelling (if any) learnt. However, they will run out of the room when I hang up my wet laundry at about 845. When I am done, they will have to return to the room to finish up. Those 2 monkeys :frustrated:

I tried allowing before and after that everyday became a tussle of can or cannot. So now strict no-no. If no homework can play games, toys or do Mummy worksheet 😉

            Me bad hor..

if no homework, okay can watch TV...

but my 2 monkeys can score 100 marks in the TV program... ask them what happen to so & so... they can tell u the whole story

asked them abt spelling.... they stare at u... blank look.

then if out of the blue, ask them hw to spell certain words, they say: mummy u say can watch TV one.... y spelling now?

but if i'm talking to DH abt certain details of a show, they can butt in & say: we know we know.... :faint:

like recently i'm not following ah di show... they will tell me what happen lor... haiz...

Did all our kids attend a course together ? How come they seem to say the same thing ? :scratchhead:
During the June hols, we watched CLIF police show (I'm crazy over Qi Yu Wu)...during intervals, I will run to the kitchen to hang up wet laundry and just before the show starts again, they will be screaming to me when the coffee ad (sponsor) is being shown.
