Use of correction-tape allowed in PSLE?

NB:
This concern was brought up under the following link too:My DS received the handbook for PSLE, there is not indication if correction type can be used, but mentioned they need to cross out any error they made.
Please clarify.

This is a good price but we already had 43 books that cover Science, Histories and Geography.
BTW, we also have 1 set of DVD on Horrible Histories. -
