We always try to accomodate but nowadays we never know wat can happen. U can tell ur maid u need to call ur agent on this matter, Im sure she will understand and not kick up a fuss if its her brother.

Its best not to let this guy know or get close to ur home too. Dangerous!
Agree totally. seems also like everyone they know is their brother or sister.

Thing with Burmese is that I hear their pride is very strong. So with mine, I tread very carefully and politely.

If mine tries that, I’ll just hand the broom etc to him and tell him to do the work since he hiam.

Well yanyan, think ur gonna experience more of these things in time to come. Mine is almost similar to yrs… gonna be 3 months soon, should be better but not quite. I think the age does play an important part.

Think u should get yr dh to choose the maid next time.

Just got a Burmese maid ten days ago. It is a transfer case. Sheis very lazy. Today I found her sleeping in kitchen with all the doors and lights on. Should I talk to her or just send her back to agent and dont waste my brain talking to her. I took her because I pitied her but her work is dirty and she is lazy. Confused.

                      Hi r2010

I'm afraid there is a limit to how far pity can go when it comes to hiring a maid. She's suppose to help you not for you to take pity on. If she is teachable than there is a future to remain in your abode. Otherwise, I would just send her back.

                        thanks 1 amber

I just check her contract and it force me to keep her for 1 month minimum. I have no choice , but I am very frustrated. Cant sleep because i am thinking of how to talk to her about her laziness. I have not said a single thing to her. I even allow her to bring her HP ( she first lied to me no phone but after that she says she has one as she is a transfer case) so I actually dont mind her having as long as her work is ok. I am stressed because my son is sitting for PSLE this year. so iam just wondering should I keep her until 7 Oct that is the last day of PSLe or just change her now. I actually do not want any more burmese maid, I will go back to Indonesian. I know Indonesian have their own problems but at least they are not as lazy as this burmese maid. She even told my MIL maid that why do my MIL work so hard…
