preferrably the tix will be the last one to be drawn... in that case no one will be deprived of a seat and i suppose the school will have to add an extra vacancy :rahrah:
:hi5: yes yes, that would be the ideal situation!

RRMummy:
yeah that will be good. Better still the school straight away add a vacancy. The multiple births already have better chance at the ballot than the singletons.g2m6:

The multiple births will not have better chance during balloting because they get the same 2 slips (or 1 for PR) but put all their names on that slip.
Meaning for Singaporean twins, they still get just 2 slips, not 4. -
then so long as one of the tix is drawn, the other one has to be taken out as well ?

BigDevil:
Parents of twins get to choose whether they want to consider their twins as one or two. If they decide to split the twins, they will have 4 balloting slips. Of course, under this circumstance, if only one of them gets selected, the parents will have to look for another school for the other one.The multiple births will not have better chance during balloting because they get the same 2 slips (or 1 for PR) but put all their names on that slip.

They won't waste time digging out the ballot slips of those who have been drawn.
If they happen to draw the same name again (and it did happen last year), they will just cast it aside...no seat taken. -

Hey parents,
I read so much about priorities to Sporean was wondering what can we do to make our opinion heard to the government? I mean, apart from writing in this forum, has anyone ever or planned to write to MOE? I think we could do it now, while the issue is seriously affecting the Sporean...we obviously do not want the same situation, or worse to happen again in the future!
If anyone is keen /preparing to write this note, why not we sign a petition, or collect our opinion as a group and voice it out ?
Just a suggestion here because we need to protect the best interest of our homeland, by raising a truely Singaporean educated child for our future!
We can individually write in to MOE http://www.moe.gov.sg/feedback/
to voice out this matter. Hopefully with more and more people writing in, our voices can be heard.
For the past few years, we already had enough PRs turned citizen and these kids will get the same priority as ours.
So, cannot afford to have PRs vying for the whatever little spaces left.
Isnt it ironic that we sporeans are deprive from a better chance to get into our own local schools with long history?
