Normally I donot bake in weekdays as I need to guide my P1 gal in her school work. Yesterday, my gal managed to finish it much earlier thus I \"steal one hr\" to bake this batch of Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.

The cookies are chewy, soft type. Find them too sweet. If I were to bake again, I'll reduce the sugar πŸ˜„

I saw the doggie cookies and look so cute. I would like to try baking them. Do you have the recipe?

Here you go. You can find this recipe on a few blogs, HHB being one of them. I made some adjustments according to my taste preference

              180g butter, softened (I reduced to 160g)
              80g Horlicks
200g top flour or cake flour (I used plain flour)
              25g corn flour
25g milk powder (I used coffeemate as no milk powder)
100g chocolate chips (mini hersheys chocolate chips)
              some chocolate rice
              some Koko Krunch

(I’ve also added about 1.5tbsp castor sugar when creaming the butter and I wrapped way more then 3 chips into the dough)

              Method:
1.\tPre-heat oven to 140deg C. Line baking tray with baking paper and set aside.
2.\tSieve top flour, corn flour and milk powder.
3.\tCream butter and Horlicks for about three minutes at low speed. Do not overbeat.
4.\tPut in top flour, cornflour and milk powder and beat for about one minute to form dough.
5.\tDivide dough into 10g each. Put three chocolate chips into each piece of dough and roll into balls.
6.\tInsert two pieces of Koko Krunch to form the β€˜ears’, chocolate rice for the "eyes", and a chocolate chip in the centre for the β€˜nose’.
7.\tBake at 140 deg C for about 25 minutes. Depending on your oven, it may take another 5 to 10 minutes more for the cookies to be ready.
8.\tLeave to cool on wire rack before storing in an airtight container.

I adapted recipe from Peng's kitchen. Intact majority of my bakes are adapted from her recipe. Here's the link
