Actually I Have been on the Lookout for Emails, phone calls for the Audition Date since the GAT test Last Sat ....

So Like vlim Says, Neck Long-Long still No News ....
Very Unusual for them to be so inefficient ....
That's Why Call them ....

Actually they very Politely keep Repeating and telling me ALL Auditions R Over, and No More will Be scheduled ....
Give me the impression that they R Suspecting me of Pulling a Fast One on them :roll: :roll: ....

Anyway, they R Sincere in Rectifying the Oversight, so Not an issue Now

But Lesson Learnt - Even the Most Well designed system, may have some human Error.
No Harm to Urge them to check in Detail, if we feel something is amiss ....

Yes She apply DSA - Chinese Dance to NYGH

So If some other PArents R in the Same Plight, (I suspect it may be amongst those who apply around 28/6/11 till closing Date),
Do Advise them to Call NYGH Ms Bianca to Arrange for the Audition Date.
For Without the Audition, don't think they will be able to consider the Application ....

Hi, my dd went for nyghs interview yesterday!! It was in a group of 3 interviewees to 2 interviewers. They asked basic qns like why nyghs, ur interests and ambitions. According to dd, they made her feel comfortable so she wasnt nervous at all. Mayb bcoz we were expecting one to one. And yes, according to previous yrs, nyghs offered co to ge and mainstreamerab4 wifout interview!!!

So This Year they Don't Ask Q like - Do U prefer to be a Pencil or Pen, and Why type of Q ....

Funx3, thank goodness you have the presence of mind to call the school. If my DD were to be unsuccessful for DSA due to her not being as good as the other girls, then I have nothing to say, 心服口服. But imagine if missed out due to administrative error, will be super upset, right?!


Anyway, ALL the BEST to your DD's audition. Tell her to give her best shot so that whatever the outcome, there will be no regrets!

HAHA. THANKS. FINALLY SOMEONE REPLIED. I applied through academics. and i am a student myself. OOPS. HAHA. I am more kiasu than my parents though, just treat me as a parent also can. the thing is i want to know if the shortlisting so far if it is very hard or just the middle stage first.. ( i dont make much sense here...) :thankyou:
