[Central] Primary Schools

That's why I asked in what context you were comparing the schools. Usually comparisons take place among the top in that particular area.
So if you're talking about Rugby, it's RI vs ACS vs St Andrews.
In academics, it's RI vs HCI.
acsp vs acsj too.

LOLMum:
Actually there is not much between acsp and acsj. Coz students from acsj who are qualify to go GEP will be transfered out to acsp.
acsp vs acsj too.
The only difference I would say is the teachers between the school. IMO acsj teachers are more willing to listen to parents. -
phtthp:
usually people more concerned about academics standing, not so much about Rugby, soccer, etc.
I beg to differ.
Education, to me at least, is not just about academic. Character building and social skills are also important. In life, EQ is more important.
I rather my kid scores 250 and has good leadership and social skills than scores 270 with no social skills -

Any suggestion of school to go to if fail in balliting in P2C? I am within 1km with ACSP, ACSJ & SJIJ and likelihood of record breaking & balloting is v high… Sianz!

Grades are really superficial.
Getting poor grades during younger days are not the end of the world.
There are loads of entrepreneur out there making bigger bucks than a degree holder or scholarship holder. -

If you are staying within 1km, then I would suggest that you try ACSJ coz there are more vacancy. At the end of the day, no difference in education level between ACSP and ACSJ.
Bear in mind that ACSP has a longer history and hence more old boys.
At the end of the day, your child still get to get in the affiliation to ACSS.
If ACSJ cannot, still got chance to get into SJIJ. Coz historically SJIJ got more vacancy then any of the ACS schooling.
Don't worry so much. Good luck. -
laughingcat:
If you can't get into any of these schools at Phase 2C, there won't be any opportunity at Phase 2C supplementary. So better to standby another school in the event you have to go to Phase 2C Supplementary. Hopefully this will not arise as you live within 1km. Your chances are better than those living outside 1km.Jav:

So which school should I choose in the event of P2C supplementary?
