Hi all.I'm new here. Very excited about this forum among Mummy. Does anyone know of any CDs for Science. I saw 2 in popular and I dont know if there are good for PSLE revision.

      Hi mummyyummy :welcome: :welcome:

        Hello~~~~~ 😂

Was at Popular this morning after dropping my DD2 for Chinese class.... 😉

Walked over to the Assessment Book section (again! :rotflmao: ) and saw the following book... http://i55.tinypic.com/2nipef.jpg\"> http://i52.tinypic.com/nod9ah.jpg\">

Tempted to get it but then realized that DD1 has enough for this year and so probably wait for year end 20% discount and decide then.... :imcool:

Saw another P3 Maths new publication and bought it 😉 ..will share more in the P3 Assessment Book thread.

          HI Champion,

Thanks for uploading the pic of that book you saw.
It's quite interesting to see the answers of some keywords in BOLD.
You sure got me curious to see the upper block version.

The answers are at the bottom of the page? So will need to cover the portion when the kid revise.

Easier for parents to mark...don't have to keep flipping.

                  Janet,

For the above book, the answers below the pages are for sections under ‘worked examples’. Answers for other papers are behind.
I flipped through the above book, but felt that the explanation for MCQ question may not be necessary yet at lower block stage. With such ‘extras’, it ‘eats’ into the number of pages that actually made up the book, making the book not really ‘value-for-money’ for those looking at varied questions. However, it seems that it may be good for those who want to grasp the basic of answering commonly asked questions. Have not looked at the contents in details. Have to look through to see how different (in terms of standard) it is from Janet Sim’s boxed set.
                  2 cents.

                    Hi Champion,
I guess the 'worked examples' are for Section B ?
Regarding what you mentioned about the explanation for MCQ, it may be easier for the parent to explain to the child why is that particular option chosen over the other 3.
At P3/4, MCQ options are quite clear-cut and easier to eliminate but for P5, son told me it was harder to eliminate but told him many times MCQ is a section he MUST score...pref in the range of 50+.

                        Hi Champion,

                        Oops
But honestly I was very blur yesterday...went to town yesterday and was very tired...not used to the crowd.

                        Hi teh_oh,
Thanks for the info...will check out the book if I go to IMM today.
Son came back with a book of coupons from the National Day parade rehearsal...there is a 15% Popular coupon
