Yes this year, feel very sad and disappointed for 58 PVs. They really slot their lungs out. They put in so much precious time, effort, energy, great hope. Purposely took precious time & leave off from work (so hard to get the nod approval from their bosses) just to clock up 40 hrs slowly, one by one.

all because cut 1 class.

if never cut, remaining vacancies would have been more, (82 + 30) = 112. Then, 112 /2 = 56, means wld still have 56 vacancies left for P2B, plus another 56 for P2C.

now because cut 1 class, 58 PVs vying for limited 41 vacancies left in P2B. poor thing … 17PVs out. I really feel for them. I do not feel for the unknown number of grassroot leaders coming in last minute, also joining P2B. Because so far, it is this group of 58 PVs that had contributed much to our school.

i do not understand why our school din plan for these 3 yrs ago, when so many parents applied then to join PV.

What are your views on The Learning Lab.... I realised most girls attend this school and my girl pester me to sign up for her.... is it worth is???

err... what year is yr girl? What are the subjects she wanna attend?

Hi, there are a lot of Rgps girls attending learning lab, but that does not mean they r good. Kids usually hear see n want to follow. My dd attended, math, english and science.

My conclusion,, math questions r too advance, they teaches much faster than the school, having many questions, no time to explain in detail, so kids just copied answers most of the time, it will b good if u do have another tutor to go thru n guide her. English- powerful vocabs, many good pointers, lots of re writings, eg, compo need to recopy if compo marks not up to their expectations.careless spelling mistakes need to write 10 times. Good if you have the time to check, go thru n make sure kids do their homework. Science - the best n highly recom. Teaches kids to answer the way the teachers wants. Discard the school books as they have more than wat is required. Hope this info helps
