Well.. as long as u feel u can handle.. n ur DD can also handle.. den it is ok to proceed.. but no stress to u n her.. as it may become a reverse effect for ur DD in terms of liking to learn into phobia for learning..

          :hugs:

Yes, the kids can absorb the most before they turn 6. You should if you can spare the time to coach her. For me, lazy lor...and also feel that when they go pri sch, they will have tons of homework and things to learn. Dun want to pressure them for now so I let them enjoy their childhood first (and giving excuses for my laziness  )

one thing i observe, when i teach my DD, i dun feel she has pressure … not yet. tt’s why i said, this age, they learn very much subconsciously… so if can input input input… they are learning effortlessly… as they grow older, they switch to left brain more and more tt’s when they feel pressure to learn/study… but if u already set a routine for them now, they wont have this problem…

I find that my DD is more keen to learn than DS1. Is it because boys are more playful? DS1 will whine when I ask him to do his homework whereas DD will ask me to do work with her.

heard many comments abt that tigger88. girl usually can pay more attention at early age but boys seem to catch up later in school-going age… so dunno also.

I agree with u tat boys more playful.. My DS will also whine juz doing his own hmwrk.. or revising with him the words he has learned in sch.. Whereas for DD1, she will come to me instead asking me hw to spell certain words and doddle onto her doodle board.. or she'll ask for DS's spelling books and try to read words on her own or with my help.. she's more AUTO den DS i would say.. n she is progressing faster too..
