        Hi Vlim!

Thanks for ur reply.Today only I sit with him and do the maths.I read one by one question and ask him to do.He just lazy to do.He feel boaring. So I gave him accompany.Today we did the SA1 paper.
Q:15 hundreads and 18 tens. He attemped two times but got wrong. So I feel that atleast he write down in numbers then he can add in mind. yah he also lose marks in careless mistakes.
        .
u mean to write it down in numbers?..for such qns I would ask my dd to write down 1500 on top of 15 hundreds and 180 on top of 18 tens...so 1500 and 180 gives 1680...hope I have answered to your qns 😄

Yes, yes. My DD has the same problem. Always "lethargic" when comes to doing homework, if not, forever using mental sums and gives me the wrong answer. That is why I always tell her : " Be smart NOT act smart". To me, in order to score well in Maths, really needs to get almost full marks for Section A !

Hi All! I found veraclari posted the following qn in the P3/P4 science q and answers.

                veraclari:
                Dear Parents,

Am trying to get my P3 kid interested in Science. Anyone has simple - do at home - experiments to recommend?

I've tried dissolving sugar and Melting of ice, planting seeds. Anything else you can recommend?

                Thanks In Advance!!! 😉
i did these in kindergarten.Again with my DD she in k1,so my son also see.May we can go beyond than that,my son attempt make a circuit with two lemons but failed. We did use battery and made successfully a simple circuit when he was in pri 1.

U can make volcano using vinegar and baking soda.If you mix together in a bottle then the bubble come out from the bottle.

Put the egg in a tap water and observe then put some salt and stir well then put the egg then observe. The egg sink in the tap water and float in the salty water.

Put an egg in the hot water then observe .bubbles come out from the egg cos egg shelll has more tiny holes.

Dear parents, have you ever caught your child lying to you? My DD was caught today. She did not attend her CCA. Instead, was at the library doing her hw till the time the CCA ended. No intent to tell me at all and I only realized when the teacher informed. What would you do in my shoes? Kindly advise. Thanks
