Wow! The Shangri-la promotion for real? Someone told me about it but I thought the discount only applied to the birthday person.


Better tell my friend - her father-in-law is turning 91 soon and she was asking me for buffet suggestions! :lol:

Absolutely real...though I have no idea when it will end.

tried a jap buffet at GWC...kushin bo or something...not quite worth the $ paid for...

My budget is after plus plus not more than $30

Shangri la .....lunch is 43+++, dinner 80+++. the only extra dish in the night is the long leg cold crab.

Both the so-called International Buffet at Sakaru Restuarant, at Science Centre and Clementi Woods Park, gets my thumb down ... But I have heard that the Sakaru Restuarant at Toa Payoh and Pasir Ris are [relatively] good. At $26 nett per adult for an international buffet dinner, guess can't really complain much.

I went there with friends this year and I thot i wouldnt go back there again... Just felt that it was not value for money ... :roll:
