honeybeel:
Hi Honeybeel, glad u r back. Hopefully u r ok now....Hi all,
I am back. Life still goes on...
Yesterday also went to check out Kranji PS, website but not much info. Only know that they are very good in basketball, but too bad my girl not the athlete type....like mommy.
I hope will not have another round of ballot....I'll have heart attack...
Huh, pocket money $0.80/day. Tot of giving $1.50. Think must revise the amount.
Don't worry - we here at cck thread will all give u the super-mummy power so tat u will hence be lucky from now on..... :grphug: -
Tri-mum:
Hi Honeybeel, think you will stand a good chance if you stay within 2km from Kranji Primary. Why not call up the school and check with history statistics for phrase 2c supplementary. I think most ppl who got balloted out at SV will most likely goes to CCk Primary or Teck Whye bah...assuming balance fm Unity, DLS and YT goes to Kranji, still have vacancies balance for phrase 3.
I think max $1 lah, $1.50 is abit too much to let them handle money for a start unless she stays back after school. If given too much to handle, she could ended up buying all sorts of cute eraser, pencils, books from the bookstore  . Gal mah will shop more on things than buying food in my personal opinion.
Hmmm....I think for me, will only give my son $0.50.... & some days will 'ta pau' some things from home for him to eat during recess....
Must teach them that money is difficult to earn from young....
-
Luckily, I am still within 1km from Kranji, should have very good chance, right.
OK Coming Friday will also go explore the canteen at Kranji PS to check out the price.... -
yes, within 1 km is always the best 'guarantee' anyone can hv....
we will all pray for u here....
i think i heard my other friends complaining abt canteen prices
quite high now & the food is really 'miserable'....like kway teow
soup with ONE fishball & ONE piece fishcake....and cost $0.50!
really now $$$ very small value..... also scared my kiddo don't
eat enough as he quite big eater esp when hungry..... -
In fact my hubby & i everyday \"ta pau\" home make lunch to company. For my hubby, he used to do it since young as he is fr a poor family and for me i really sick of outside food already, some more want to \"keep fit\", if i lunch outside sure i will try my best to finish all the food, but if prepare by my own, at least i can control the quantity & save money also. Yes, LAST few years when I was teaching in YTPS, $0.50 only for Kueh Teow soup with one piece of fish cake & one fish ball. It is definitely not enough for my boy as he can eats 3 roti prates for breakfast and one plate of chicken rice for lunch.
When talk about “keep fit”, how many KG u gain & still with you after giving birth? For me, still have 10KG.  luckly i not so short, so still look like M size, but promoting to L size. :?:
There are total 29 (DLS), 28 (YT) & 30 (Unity) disappointed parents, if all of them go to Kranji PS, there will still have some balance seats, don worry. For those who fail in SV balloting, i guess they all stay beyond 1KM fr Kranji PS (logically). I noticed that they will not have much choices as Concord PS & CCK PS only left about 4-10 seats only, at the end they have to go to Teck Whye PS, Kranji PS (beyond 1KM) or outside CCK. Honeybeel will have high chance (i can see for sure) than those who is out fr SV. -
wow, anna you bring homecook food for lunch? then what time you wake up to prepare and wash up before you go to work? You very good leh. If have time, I rather sleep ZZZzzzzzzz.

Anna Ng:
Me still have 6kg, but I am not the tall type....In fact my hubby & i everyday \"ta pau\" home make lunch to company. For my hubby, he used to do it since young as he is fr a poor family and for me i really sick of outside food already, some more want to \"keep fit\", if i lunch outside sure i will try my best to finish all the food, but if prepare by my own, at least i can control the quantity & save money also. Wah, thanks for so detail analysis. There are total 29 (DLS), 28 (YT) & 30 (Unity) disappointed parents, if all of them go to Kranji PS, there will still have some balance seats, don worry. Every early morning around 5am, my second girl will pull me up “mummy, I want milk”, so I will give her milk & at the same time cook rice (will take me around 2 minutes to do so as I already measure the qty & put into the rice cooker) then go to bed again. I wake up at 6.00am and only cook 1 dish; this will take me about 10-15 minutes. While waiting for it, I will boil water & prepare breakfast, normally bread and coffee only. I go to work around 7.00am and my hubby will go to work around 7.45am at the same time send the kids to childcare centre. Sometimes, we will just prepare sandwiches for lunch. Every night, I will prepare all the necessary stuffs (like what to cook and what to wear) and put in place first, so that in the morning won be so rush.
Honeybeel: 6kg not so bad lah! do u go for exercise? Normally I will go for swim & jogging once a week, that’s mean I got exercise twice a week. However, “input” more than “output”, so the exercise is only helps me to maintain my weight but not reducing it.
Baby2momma: Hei, don laugh hor, u have not tell us how much u gain? or still a sexy mummy?
Trim Mum: Since u work in town area, must wear \"pretty pretty\" lor? :politebleah: -

But I must say Anna, u r a really good & dedicated mummy & wife.
